Kianga had passed the rainbow bridge after many years with his family. She was the Mother's pup. The Father wanted to create a beautiful memory of all the years Kiange had been with them. They had never had Kianga professionally photographed by they had lots of snapshots of her. Dad brought us a variety of snapshots. We chose the one with the best expression, scanned it to create the digital file, removed the background, which was a busy kitchen and then created this stunning painting! He gave it to his wife for Christmas, their first Christmas without their best friend.
When Ben & Breanna learned that Cajun had cancer and would not be with them long, they decided to have portraits created. Their fondest memories were of her in the off-leash runs so they definitely wanted outdoor portraits. This is what they had to say about their experience.
"Shelley has been great throughout the whole process. I love how she has a passion for animals and photography, it really shines through. It was a real treat to work with her. Thank you so much for your time and the wonderful pictures of Cajun!"
