Toddlers are The BEST

Toddlers can be challenging to photograph. Young children are real; they have not yet developed their "picture" face, you know the one where they grin as soon as a phone is pointed their way. And they tend to have a mind of their own!

I love to create precious, classical portraits that show your child's innocence and personality. My background allows me to work with all children, all ages. As a big sister to two boys and Aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews, my experience with children started young. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Developmental Psychology and my Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I worked for 20 years exclusively in the field of Autism and developed many ways to gain children's cooperation by giving them a sense of control.

By the age of two, your child is showing who they are and they have a mind of their own. Some say the terrible twos but it is one of my favourite ages to photograph. Children at this age range from shy to outgoing; show-offs to obstinate and every trait in between. The cute little things they say and do won't last but the portraits will take you back in time, every time you walk past them on the wall.
